| The Energy + Environment Foundation through its Energy + Environment OpenCourseWare
(EEOCW) initiative seeks to strengthen education in developing countries by developing and freely distributing teaching materials via the web. Specifically, EEOCW’s mission is to develop high-quality energy & environment course materials suitable for undergrad, graduate, science, engineering,
policy, business and law courses. In the future, we plan to train teachers in developing countries
to teach these courses
EEOCW is collaboration, presently including NGOs, government agencies, and individual faculty
at several academic institutions. Faculty at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),
Harvard Kennedy School of Government, People’s University in Beijing, and China Mining &
Technology University. The Center for International Environmental Law and MIT
OpenCourseWare are supporters of EEOCW.
